And, now just a week away it is time again for work to begin on the next issue of your CLARION. Closing date for the NOVEMBER 2024 issue is 5 pm Walpole time, Tuesday, October 22.  As always, the earlier the better – as of this writing I have about 1/3 of the pages filled. Yes, your early submissions are always welcome and appreciated as I start developing the layout well beforehand. If you have some “news” send it along. In addition, I like to have on-hand material of interest that is not time-sensitive to fill space to round out a pleasing issue. So, if you would “like to be in print” and have something to write and share (images as well), send along for possible inclusion space permitting. Finally some rain. The most intense green on the Common and in my yard this year became brown in no time – we need the rain. And, with Halloween approaching (seems to have become the most popular holiday) it is time for me to get my Plastic Pumpkin Patch out again (fortunately they do not need watering).
